Pete Grella

Pete Grella moved to Hong Kong from New York City 4 years ago and hasn’t looked back! Mainly because he pinched a nerve and can’t move his neck very well… he does turn his body around on occasion, though, to gaze in the direction of NYC.

Pete has been performing regularly at TakeOut Comedy and has even headlined a few shows. He participated in the 3rd Annual Hong Kong International Comedy Competition and he attended the finals of that competition (critics say that he was an excellent audience member.)

In addition to stand up and improv, Pete has also been writing for and performing in Comedy Dim Sum, the first English and Cantonese variety show in Hong Kong at TakeOut Comedy.

When he’s not performing (or working his day job), Pete has been known to live on an abandoned oil drilling platform in the North Sea raising sea monkeys.
